Pro Realtor | Licensed Nutritionist
I know that shopping for a home can be super stressful, nerve racking, and emotional; especially if you dont totally understand the process. After years of shopping for homes with random agents and being disappointed with the level of service and respect I received, I decided to take things into my own hands and get my real estate license. I know how important communication, support, and honesty are for any kind of relationship and I strive to bring those to your home shopping adventure. I am open, I listen and validate how you’re feeling throughout the process as well as the experience and education to make sure you are making an informed decision for one of the biggest purchases of your life. I absolutely love houses, especially those with lots of ‘potential’ and a good story. I’m a DIYer and get inspired by seeing what others have done in their own homes to make them more fabulous and functional.
What can I do for you? We’ll talk about what you’re looking for, specifically and I help you get started with your search. We’ll go out and look at as many houses as you need to find the one that will best suit your needs. I’ll help you understand the process, from pre qualifying to closing, and make sure you understand what you are getting yourself into all along the way.
What I won’t do: I REALLY love shopping for houses. I understand that it takes some time to figure out exactly what you want, and if you need to check out a ton of houses before you are ready to buy, I’m happy to show them to you. I’ll never put pressure on you to buy now or to buy something you’re not that interested in just because you’ve looked at 15 already. The right house for you will come along and I’m with you until we find it.
Why I’m a realtor: I’m always shopping for houses. Like, ALWAYS. Before I got my license, I’d call up some random agent to unlock the lock box and they spend the whole time telling me why I DON’T want to buy that particular house, or try to impress me with their knowledge, rather than listening to what I wanted. Here’s the deal, as a realtor, it’s your job to open the lockbox and listen to me. Not to tell me what you think I want. Buying a home is a visceral decision. A buyer can’t put into words exactly what they are looking for because they are largely looking for a feeling, and they will know when the see it. As a buyer myself, I didn’t experience this kind of care, so as a realtor, I try REALLY HARD to tune into your feelings and responses to the houses we see.
I’m not your typical realtor. My experience in working with clients (nutritionally, coaching, teaching, etc) has helped me hone my ability to listen to you and help you find what you really want, not tell you want you want, but to help you figure it out yourself. I want to educate you on the process so you know what you’re getting yourself into, and be there to negotiate on your behalf when the time comes to get you YOUR HOUSE as smoothly as possible.
Don’t forget, we can shop in both Minnesota AND Wisconsin 😀
Oh yea, I’m a licensed nutritionist too. I feel like nutrition is one of the biggest and best things you can do for yourself to be generally healthy, prevent chronic disease, feel fabulous everyday, and have the energy you need to thrive in all arenas. Read more about why nutrition is awesome and how I can help you figure yours out.
Be kind. Stay informed. Ask questions. Look it up. Read books. Work hard.

Since this was my first foray into the whole home-buying process, I guess fortunately I don’t have any horrendously negative experiences to compare mine with. What I can say is that working with Amy made the whole process a very enjoyable experience. I mean,… (more)
Patient, invested, and knowledgeable are words I would use to describe Amy. My husband connected with Amy on Zillow after we’d been working with a different agent for a few months. We left that previous agent to work with Amy. My husband and I are… (more)
Amy is very professional and actually listens to the client and their needs. Her photography skills present the home in the best way. She had 18 photos showing as much of the house as possible. Having lived in our home for 35 years we had no experience with… (more)
